Status: offline 		Great result for brave Siberians! I was only a little worried to get result 14 and expected to lose one unit...

REBASE
USSR rebases planes to German border. CW rebases Whitley to Cairo.

France Reorganizes bomber just in case.

With roll 9 turn does not end. I sense some problems now... US get ready to be annoyed!

Status: offline 		Italy decides with two unguarded CW Trans in Egypt nicely within range of the Nav, now might be the time for a 'surprise' DoW against the CW. The question is, which port to attack? The Queens or a 4-4 Trans? What will the US media make of this?

Status: offline 		Apparently, they are starting to take note as an entry chit is drawn.

Germany combined, Italy naval, Japan land.

Italy sends a port attack to Suez to strike the Queens. The Italian pilots jubilantly claim multiple hits on the two liners, leaving them sinking. It subsequently turns out many were in fact near misses. The liners are heavily damaged but remain afloat. The CW surprise roll is a 7. All surprise points are used to increase the combat results to an X.

Status: offline 		J/F 1940 Axis 14: Naval movement

4 Italian CL head into the Italian Coast. The CW attempts to intercept, using the CL Cardiff. On an 8 it fails. Two CL remain in the 1-box, the remainder proceed to the East Med. The Galetea attempts an intercept but fails on a 7. The two CL settle in the 1-box.

Two subs head to the East Med 2-box. Another heads to Cape St Vincent 3-box.

2 BB and 8 CA sail into the West Med. The CA Hawkins intercepts on a 2. The Italians stay put in the 4-box.

Six areas are available for naval combat.

Status: offline 		First to the East Med. An Italian CL initiates the search and subs are committed. with searches of Axis 8 and Allies 10 both sides just about manage to find the sea.

In the West Med, the Italian task force emerges out of a storm and is upon the RN before they have time to react. All Italian gunfire is directed upon the prime target, the CV Courageous, to devastating effect. Her two escorting cruisers vainly try to protect their charge and suffer serious damage in return.

Status: offline 		As the Italian ships head back to the cover of the storm, the slower moving BB's are hit by the RN's return fire. The Conte Di Cavour catches the worst of it and may be out of the war for some time. Giulio Cesare will need some time in the body shop, knocking out a few dents and a respray, but will be back in action soon.

Status: offline 		The RN hunts around to try and obtain some revenge for Courageous but, mission accomplished, the Italians have returned to port.

Switching north, the Me-110 initiates searching in the Baltic. No additional German planes fly. Do the French wish to add their MS-406?

Status: offline 		The snow makes visibility difficult but the Luftwaffe observers have discovered the merits of removing lens caps. Their search succeeds on a 3, catching the Allies by surprise (6 rolled). The Luftwaffe concentrate their effort on the 3-box. The two CVP's fly as fighters.

The RN are at a disadvantage (+3:-3). First round sees the German Nav cleared through (Allies roll 11). On an Axis roll of 14, do the CW wish to abort the front fighter or bomber?

Status: offline 		Reckoning their future may not be too bright with only the RN Baffins as escort, the RAF Harrows head back home. The RN are made of pluckier stuff and stay to fight.

Results of Allied 12 and Axis 6 sees the first Baffin aborted. Which CV does it wish to land on and does the remaining one wish to continue fighting?

Status: offline 		Both sides circle around the sky but neither can get a telling advantage (both rolled 12's for DC's).

They continue circling. Those brave Baffins are putting up a spirited defence (Allied 7, Axis 13 for both NE).

The superiority in aircraft finally tells.

Status: offline 		The LW use their 3 surprise points to reduce the AA fire to lowest 1 of 6 but it looks to have been in vain. The Nav is forced to ditch bombs short of target.

Status: offline 		The Allied CL on picket duty becomes aware of planes overhead and they aren't friendly. She doesn't appear to have been spotted. Which sea box does she wish to engage? Does she want to avoid combat or use surprise to boost AA to maximum effect, reduce damage etc? Will the RN stay for a third round?

Status: offline 		The CL signals the position of the planes to the fleet, who alter course and escape detection, as does the CL (4 surprise points to avoid combat).

The Germans decline combat in the Baltic.

The Italians decline the Italian Coast but initiate in Cape St Vincent. The searches are unsuccessful on Axis 4 and Allied 7.

The RN commits subs to combat in the Italian Coast but searches of RN 8 and Axis 5 draw a blank.

A Ju-88 delivers another egg to Winston (strategic bombing 2 factors, 7 +1, 1 BP lost).

Adm Yamamoto and 25th Inf rail to NE of Kirin.

Northern China after Jap land movement.

Status: offline 		France and CW left some ships to cover CP's in most sea areas. CW also left a fleet of 5 ships (including two CV's) to Eastern Mediterranean box 3. France still have 2 cruisers in Baltic Sea in boxes 0 and 1. US sent one sub to Philippines.

Nationalist Chinese breaks down one 3-2 INF into two 1-2 INF divs in Central China.

CW assigned 3 pilots (Spitfire, Carrier air Nimrod and Blenheim). CW removes Wellesley.

Edit: Just remembered my great plan: Break down Indian INF, bring one div to Egypt and another one UK. Maybe I do that next turn...
