3 out of the last 4 to me.

Honestly the reader in the future might think some terrible virus hit the earth and I was locked down to do nothing but watch out for INPs.

Oh actually ...

Next trick question - why is Wales not on the flag of the United Kingdom?

And the trick is that Wales is represented.

Wales got a Prince from England, which is more than Scotland or Ireland did.

Well, Wales did get a Prince from England. But I think Scotland, and Ireland, both got a King, or Queen, from England. And, usually, a King beats a prince.

Almost there. The Clue is in the name. United Kingdom. Wales is just a Principality.

But that's because there's no such thing as a Princedom. Or is there?

Principality.

My understanding is that the Tudor were from Wales but were not a king otherwise.

Dixie, your ship looks nice and so, but I am wondering about the colouring of the flag. It seems a bit weird. Not that I mind but I had to ponder a while before I got what flag it actually is. Or maybe I got it wrong? Maybe that is the best solution for it in black and white?

This isn't a complaint. I am just curious. Since it must be a designer choice to have the flag like that.

I was going for a hand drawn look. Like the kind of stuff you doodle on a bit of scrap paper when you're bored.

Looks like forward planning. A b&w flag can more easily have some lines erased when Scotland and Wales decide to go their own way ...

Which part of the flag needs to be erased when Wales goes its own way?

One of the x crosses. I know the Scots one is St. Andrews cross. The Welsh one might be St. David's cross. The big red + cross is St. George's.

The White on Blue Cross is Scotland, the diagonal red cross is Ireland, and the vertical/horizontal red cross is England. Only three crosses

Here is the flag of Wales

Next trick question - why is Wales not on the flag of the United Kingdom?

Because Saint George killed the dragon!

Henry Tudor was 27th in line to the throne, according to one historian. He just happened to be an adult male with an army.

Good night!

I had already pointed out that Saint George slew the dragon but I did not inform this thread that he hid it behind his cross.
