All that I can say is: My sinusitis flared up and it is in my inner ear and may be going to my outer ear.

Stick your head in a bucket of piranha fish and the sinusitis will go away.

If I drank a jug of Asbach, the sinusitis would not bother me.

I need a dose of THE THREAD!!! where all who don't take themselves too seriously are welcome!

No more COVID-19 thread reading for me.

If you've got any questions, feel free to PM me. I've bowed out of that other thread on account of bad behavior of some of the other folks there too.

I simply blocked a couple of people there. Did you know that they have a workable treatment? And a potential vaccine ready to be manufactured?

I do miss your input there.

Much appreciated, my man. I mostly was keeping up with that thread to hear the first hand accounts from the boots on the ground.

Thanks, RangerJoe. But I don't understand your question-probably a language issue. Are you asking me if I know of the existence of a workable treatment or are you telling me that there is one? Same with the vaccine question.

On a somber note, it looks like Boris Johnson has been moved to the ICU.

Doctors At University of Pittsburgh Medical Center: We’ve Developed a Vaccine Against Coronavirus
Posted at 4:00 pm on April 2, 2020

quote:

Doctors and researchers at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center have announced amazing news.

They are saying they’ve created a vaccine that can protect against developing COVID-19 and they want federal permission for human trials.

From Penn Live:

They said they began working on it Jan. 21 and found mice had developed antibodies against COVID-19 about two weeks after receiving the vaccine. They said they based the vaccine on work previously done at UPMC that sought to create vaccines to protect against SARS and MERS, which they said are similar to the new coronavirus.

Not only that the doctors say the vaccine is easily deliverable in large quantities.

They further said their vaccine is one that is easily scalable to produce in large quantities. It also includes a unique delivery method in which hundreds of tiny needles are in a patch similar to a Band-Aid, with the needles, made of sugar and protein particles, dissolving into the skin to deliver the vaccine.

https://www.redstate.com/nick-arama/2020/04/02/doctors-at-university-of-pittsburgh-medical-center-weve-developed-a-vaccine-for-the-wuhan-virus/

This was my post from April 2 about the University of Pittsburgh vaccine. How safe is it? Maybe somebody can let us know.

Here is a treatment:

MI Gov. Bans Hydroxychloroquine; Constituent Who Credits the Drug for Saving His Life Wants to Talk
Posted at 7:00 pm on March 27, 2020 by Elizabeth Vaughn

quote:

As a COVID-19 survivor who is currently recovering, I believe it is important to share my story publicly so others have hope.
.
.
.
On March 18th, I had a sudden onset of severe respiratory and cardiac issues. I immediately went to the hospital and they did a COVID-19 test. Despite my test being marked as a priority, I did not receive the test results until the evening of March 22nd. While waiting for the test results in the hospital, my breathing continued to worsen as treatment was received. Without having the COVID-19 test results, the wonderful and hard-working doctors basically have their hands tied as certain medications (i.e. steroids, etc.) can potentially make COVID-19 worse. On the morning of March 21st, I was not doing well and it was a major struggle to breathe. Feeling like I was slowly drowning, I honestly believed I would not live to see midnight. The x-ray that morning also showed my condition was worsening, including some collapsing in the lungs. Luckily, the infectious disease physicians decided to try a non-approved, experimental combination (Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin). This is the same treatment President Donald Trump recently mentioned at a press conference and continues to be attacked for. After my first dose, I had a major improvement. My gasping for air stopped, and I was in tears of happiness due to having hope restored. I finally felt I would beat COVID-19 and it was no longer beating me. On March 22nd, I remained about the same. However, March 23rd brought a significant improvement. I continued to recover and was miraculously able to go home on March 24th to continue the treatment.

Edit: I forgot the link!

https://www.redstate.com/elizabeth-vaughn/2020/03/27/michigan-gov.-warns-doctors-pharmacists-who-prescribe-or-dispense-hydroxychloroquine-of-professional-consequences

I forgot the link when I posted this. I found the link and here it is again. What I quoted is not the entire article but there is hope. Just think, three days after starting the treatment he was able to go home - ALIVE!

I'd like your feedback on quantum string gravity, Godzilla vs Rodan, and who the Iggles should draft. No hurry.

In order:
A. Cool beans! So that's how life, the universe and everything works!
B. Rodan is a p****.
C. Iggles should think about drafting a QB that can last the season rather than someone guest starring on the Lawrence Welk show with a bad hammy.

Good, err, whatever. I got woken up in the wee wee hours of the morning by thunder.

Now, I am not sleepy. I shot myself and took some drugs but I am still not sleepy . . .

A local company has a trial vaccine for the-disease-that-shall-not-be-mentioned (TDTSNBM). Think I'll volunteer. https://6abc.com/health/montco-company-allowed-to-start-testing-covid-19-vaccine/6082735/

So much time on my hands. I tried to recover my old files and stuff from an old PC, but it seems to be pretty much dead At least I have something to do now, as well as plenty of time to do it in...

Sorry to hear that Dixie. But yeah, plenty of time. I'm home 24/7 except for shopping and doctor's. When I'm allowed to go outside that is....GP
