Easy now, be respectful - black holes eat matter!

Black holes only have a 'corona' when they are eating matter. Otherwise they emit no visible radiation and are completely - you guessed it - black.

Good morning.

And a glorious morning it is. The battle for France had just begun, and Germany introduces the world to a new tactic and launces the first paradrop behind enemy lines to help create a breakthrough that, hopefully, will wreak havoc on the French lines.

And the reference to the final season of Breaking Bad was appreciated too. Still some of the best television that I've ever seen.

Haven't seen the final season. I kind of felt the second last season had twisted the story to far for me.

I suppose it is time to continue and watch the end of the story.

I used to do that in Third Reich. I would capture Paris in 1939 . . .

By trapping most of the French Army, it would turn Vichy. Then I would capture Malta and Egypt. Vichy French armour on the Eastern Front . . .

But the particles escape from the black hole. A large object is made from small particles. Therefore, at least in theory, all of the particles making up the large object could escape, all at the same time and in the same relative position to each other hence nothing would change, so the large object would then escape from the black hole.

It is like how a pool ball can, at least in theory, pass right through another pool ball. Although, at least beginning in the late 1800s, the pool balls were more likely to explode. That can be very dangerous when you have a bunch of drunken cowboys with pistols in a saloon when that happens.

Particles do not escape from black holes (with the exception of Hawking Radiation). The radiation (usually not particles) comes from matter that is destroyed as it crosses the event horizon of the black hole. As noted above, Quantum theory generally does not apply to black holes. Indeed, the laws of physics break down within a singularity.

An exception occurs when the Black Hole is located in Calcutta, 1756.

How do you know that they do not escape? Is not a radiation type also a wave? Are not electron described as particle-waves?

I am now less of a barbarian.

Note to self:

When trimming the eyebrow hair, it is better the close the eyes instead of getting short bits of hair on the eyeball.
Also, when trimming nose hair, EXHALE through the nose, not inhale!
You do not have to quit hearing when trimming ear hair.

If you marry in Vegas, then your marriage will not stay in Vegas. If, for some reason, you marry in a Black Hole, then you all will stay in that Black Hole. No matter what. And your marriage will certainly be unknown to all. Except, perhaps, in the Black Hole.

And if you gamble in the Black Hole, and win, then you may never leave with your winnings.

In fact, the Black Hole will comp you a permanent stay. Regardless of your finances...

Haven't been to Vegas for over 20 years....but I like the neutron bomb reference. I had forgotten about those. My rule in Vegas was $200 only. Once that was gone, you step away from the tables.

That is a good rule.

But I recommend a win rule as well. Once you are up the amount you decided on you will step away from the tables.

As far as marriage, there is life after death - it is called divorce.

Black Holes suck up matter; Vegas sucks up money.

If you marry in Vegas, then your marriage will not stay in Vegas. If, for some reason, you marry in a Black Hole, then you all will stay in that Black Hole. No matter what. And your marriage will certainly be unknown to all. Except, perhaps, in the Black Hole.

Some on this forum have argued that their marriage WAS the black hole, but particles of themselves managed to escape and arrive at this forum ...

Vegas is akin to a Neutron Bomb. It removes all the money without damaging anything else.

As far as marriage, there is life after death - it is called divorce.

AKA as extreme court ordered poverty!
