When they are accepted as refugees, in fact there is a quote of 1-2% who will be accepted, they will get money and apartments and social benefits like a worker here who works 30 years and lost his job...there is not a a big difference.

The problem is now there are far too many and we simply don´t have enough place to give such a number of people a place to live.

I believe most of them believe Germany is the paradise and the money lies on the streets, you only need to pick it up.

Those stories are used by human smugglers to get money from those people.

Status: offline 		My son is a senior in high school. He wants to join the navy, try for the teams.

NOT ON MY WATCH!! YOU ARE GONNA GET A COLLEGE EDUCATION FIRST!!

So I just get an email from a university. He applied!! I read through it, and as I was reading a second email came in, from the campus NROTC program

I could just scream....

With all the tremendous GI Bill and other educational incentives out there now, wouldn't a ROTC-based commissioned track be a good way to pay for college? Although we have saved up bunches of cashola for the kids' college educations, I don't know that I would say no to some help from Uncle Sam on the matter (if, of course, my kids were interested in the military post-graduation for at least a short period of time).
