I would like to by-pass Italy, by invading Sardinia and Corsica. Is that possible, with this software?

You can invade anywhere there are eligible hexes. You main limitation is air cover, but Sardinia can be easily covered, and once you have the air fields in southern Sardinia you can invade Corsica, with air cover. Your main concern with invading is do you have sufficient air cover, and are you close enough to maintain your naval control. When you hit the retarget TF button, it will show all eligible hexes that can be invaded.
