Yup. I was looking up the mythological Naiad Thetis when I bumped into that pic.

I was perusing the internet to try to stump this august body when I came across this I have no idea if this was photo shopped, but it is my understanding that older pics were very hard to photo shop. Still....

The fish would be too big even for Megalodon with dorsal to tail of 64'

Orca's dorsals can get pretty big, maybe Mamma orca followed by baby orca. Wonder how the pic was taken? From another U-boat or a ship or plane?

Has anyone from SwaWorld seen this? They could build a half acre pool for it.

Steve, you're always right, until now. I don't know what it is yet but it ain't Akagi.

Dammit you're right after all. It looks so different. Is that the hanger deck on top? Did they totally redesign her?

Yes , several times. They kept working at her "flying off decks".

Yes. Steve is, as usual, correct. This is a 1925 pic of her being put together. I am finding all KINDS of neat pics, but it is hard confirming them before posting them.

<Edit>

OK Steve, enough of the easy ones...name this one

It's Captain Kangaroo's lost ship the SS Clarabell. That clamp to the bottom left is for jury-rigged repairs to pipes.
