Half a year into my latest game I realized FMSV and SSVF brigades have insane recall costs, 630 and 540 points respectively.

Does this represent difficulty of replacing the original ethnic troops?

When you consider that Malayan squads only produce for 3 months with a build rate of '2', I'd guess that either...

a) It is a merciful attempt by the designers to save click-happy rebuilders from themselves, or...

b) A far-sighted attempt by the designers to save themselves from having to answer a string of outraged queries on how they expect both brigades to be rebuilt to TOE with just 6 Malayan squads in the pool.
