I'm playing through Log Bridge and having some issues with ships not defending themselves. I tinkered with the WRA to allow more shots, shooters, and greater self defense range.
But the ships in danger will not fire while the missile has two interceptors in flight. This leads to the CG's in the middle of formation taking shots, while the DDG in the lead and closest to danger gets hit.
The DDG never fires in self defense and the CIWS seems to fire too late to be of any help.

I'm playing the with the steam version.

Try firing manually and the manual allocation dialog will tell you why the target isn't beung engaged.
