On Youtube is a page called "The Great War".

We are now up to week 46 of the Great War. Each video describes what happened this week 100 years ago. Each is only 7-10 mins long.

There are also other videos on topics of interest to do with the Great War. As a result we are up to video 82!

This is an excellent series and I encourage people to watch it.

Thank you for sharing.

I will have a look at it and see if I can catch up.

I'm going to bump this after every episode. I've never and probably won't ever see again a non biased approach to WW1. Anyone know who this guy is? He gets so excited telling history! I love this.

Joe,

Thank you so much for this, it is great. It is very English in it style of presentation, a single narrator telling a story.

Tried to post about this series a while ago; glad to see someone else is out there watching it too!

In conjunction with the remarkable BBC series from the 60s about WW1, I think this acts like a good "refresher," sort of thing about specific points / places in the war.

Will be interesting to see if they do a similar series about WW2.

No but I stumbled over other stuff he has done with this same team, on Youtube on other military subjects. They look and feel like this series.
