Here's some neat fotos and a brief clip of the Blackbird plus info. In most of the pics it looks like the turbine nacelles are slightly curved with the nose cones pointed in toward the fuselage. Is that an illusion?

The engine inlets are curved and are controllable inflight.at high altitude the inlets are moved in to change the airflow to the engines.
I was in Kadena, Okinawa when one landed in the early morning and the fuselage skin glowed cherry red due to the titanium skin and the mach speed of the aircraft.
I worked on the U2R aircraft and our pilots wore the same spacesuit on missions. Using the spacesuit required them to pre-breathe pure oxygen before flight. the SR71 use the same pre-flight system.
