I remember a discussion about whether Cav were being treated as Inf or cav and that '41/2 they were Inf but '43 onwards Mech? I'm in '41 and assume a high Inf general is the right decision?

PS 700 MIGs in pool and no auto transfer from the I's yet. Its tough to be patient.

Cav is Inf, with horses to get around on, later the cav xxx gets tanks, check TOE updates for when. Inf ldr for cav is a yes.

Sov don't have too many good mech ldrs, and you will need them for your tk xxxx. 2 cents worth, only.

Watch Loki AARs for cool pics of sov cav.

Thanks - also I'm following Loki's AAR avidly. Good to see Russian's do well as the game is so biased against us...

more seriously, at the moment cav units are infantry for leadership all game. I believe that one of the 1.8.05 changes is that they will flip to armoured later in the game (1943) when the OOB starts to include a significant number of T-34s.

Thanks - I remembered reading about the change which makes sense to Cav but Inf right now.

Another great photo and off topic looking forward to Axis 42 offensive with his fresh pzrs.
