Congrat for your game guys. I enjoy a lot , it is a very interesting era and very few wargame used it so it is cool. The graphism are very nice actually, i played some HPS before and this game with 3D view is large more attractive. The same for interface, you do a very great job to make this not too hard to play as beginner.

By the way, i want to know if you plan to add some other scenarios, particularly about Lebanese War, Hezbollah.... I understand why you dont want put Iraq-Iran War sadly, but Lebanese War would add a lot of new interesting scenarios.

And guys please, continue to make game on modern conflict, i have enought WWII games, now wargame it is 90 percent abour World War II and it is very annoyed for people like me . Just look the upcoming games of Matrix, all World War 2, there are already too much games about this conflict. So dont listen too much people that ask you to make your next game on this era, i would enjoy a vietnamese game or cold war game a lot more.

Thank you for your support, Lysimaque!

There are a couple of scenarios dealing with Lebanon in 1982.

That being said, this is only the main release of Middle East. You can expect to see additional scenarios released when we release UPDATES for the game. It is a living game, if that makes sense.

I would also like to Congratulate you guys on finally releasing this. I have been following your Dev diaries for awhile and looking forward to this release. I love that there are some obscure conflicts in this. I am really really looking forward to your future releases and growth of the series. Just one wish can you add in a mousewheel zoom in out feature like the HPS titles have.

Great minds think alike: Mousewheel zoom is high on my wishlist for ME 1.01.

And if at all possible I would love to see it center on the mouse pointer so it can be used for swift focusing on areas of interest without using the jump map.

One could argue that I've had that many hours playing East Front over the years.

This is, of course, just the first iteration of Middle East - it is living game - and with the future UPDATES that will include additional scenarios and linked campaigns, one could play hundreds of hours.

Even at ten hours, the cost of the game turns out costing 4 dollars (USD) per hour. At one hundred hours, the cost of the game is 0.40 cents (USD) per hour.

Now that's cheap entertainment!

Also want to add congrats and thank you. You guys kept the faith and produced something that I and other wargamers will be playing for many hours. Finally, a tactical game I can play easily in wonderfully rendered 2D. Excuse me... I didn't think I would get so emotional. (Wipes away tears). Cheers guys and much success

I ABSOLUTELY love the new 2D views,I actually use them all except for view 3.One thing this WW2 guy already learned, assaulting fixed Israeli positions with tribal militia sucks hard, where's my 150mm arty, my engineers. my airstrikes WTH . Great Job, wish you good luck and success with the launch.
