Status: offline 		Bene,mi solleva l'dea di non esser l'unico italiano appassionato di questo gioco.Visto che nella mia lingua mi spiego meglio :per caso qualcuno saprebbe spiegarmi la differenza tra munizioni ap e apcr.Inoltre,che voi sappiate dove si possono scaricare nuove campagne in attesa della versione 5.0?Trovo la wwII long campaign snervante ed anche un po' noiosa,perchè i riferimenti storici sono pressochè nulli e le battaglie sono ripetitive:non c'è mai un assedio cittadino!! grazie,ciao

Prima di risponderti,un consiglio: fai uno sforzo e prova a scrivere in inglese(fa sembre bene un po' di ripasso...); normalmente nei forum "internazionali" non sono particolarmente apprezzati i thread in lingue diverse dall'inglese;oltretutto,se chiedi informazioni,scrivendo in italiano limiti molto le possibilità di ricevere una risposta.. Circa le domande: 1)AP/APCR: non lo so! 2)Campagne: nel gioco sono GIA' incluse diverse campagne ("From Utah to Rhine, "Preparing the way" ed altre di cui non ricordo il nome); esplora bene l'opzione Campagne e vedrai che le trovi. Se poi non ti basta, allora ecco due siti che sono un must per i cultori di Spwaw;qui troverai di tutto e di più,incluso campagne addizionali a quelle fornite con il download: http://www.tankheadcentral.com/ http://www.fprado.com/armorsite/main.html

This should be something similar to the old HVAP (High Velocity Armor Piercing )rounds I know that Mr. Paul Vebber did a lot to improve the armor penetration system maybe he renamed that reflecting what he has done.. Anyway all of these acronymus indicate the specific type of ammunition used by a tank (if provided) while it's firing at the enemy.. And obvioulsy they have different efficancies ..the HEAT and APCR are more powerful than the simple AP... Actually there is no chance to select which of them to be used ... Ciao from Ruxius = Russo in 'latin'

Status: offline 		By the way i'm from vicenza!Thanks a lot guys for your answering!I find this exchanging opinion board very usefull!To Mikimoto:my nickname wants to mean the major general of the 1st airbon british division;the other one didn't have anyting amazing,while General Urquhart was probably with col.Frost the best "actor" or that bloody operation!I'm tryin' also to design the market-garden campaign,but the more i go on the more it gets difficult!!I still has got to practise!!!!The point is that i find difficulties to give to the enemy(Bitricht(???)second armored ss group)a good movement in the different scenarios(they often seem silly!)and to combine the different scenarios with a good historical background!!Any ideas??

APCR=armour piercing composite rigid è praticamente la stessa cosa di HVAP solo che viene generalmente utilizzato per descrivere gli equivalenti di questo proietto americano negli arsenali tedeschi (Panzergranate 40) o sovietici (BR-xxxP). Curioso. In un Forum sui war games (sul Wargame!) un messaggio che inizia con "ITALIANI!!!" ha un suono un po' particolare. (sarà perché sono un po' appassionato di storia). Status: offline 		Hello Urquhart, per favore non scusarti, dagli Stati Uniti abbiamo ricevuto tante cose, alcune più belle altre meno belle, ma l'unica che proprio non riesco ad ingoiare è questa patetica psicosi per il politically correct. Sarà perchè a noi toscani e fiorentini in particolare se ci togliete il gusto per la polemica e per lo sberleffo e peggio che tagliarci gli attributi, ma il tutto mi sembra un tantino asettico, se uno mi da del mangia maccheroni o del mafioso lo mando a quel paese (eufemismo)e non ci penso più. Inoltre il fatto che tu abbia intitolato il tuo messaggio "Italiani" mi ha fatto sorridere, certo ho pensato anch'io al nostro famoso crapa pelata Mussolini (sarà politicamente scorretto chiamarlo così?)ma subito mi sono ricordato che così si rivolgeva al popolo anche Totò in un suo spassosissimo film. Quindi un invito a tutti: un pò più di ironia e al bando il politically correct almeno nelle discussioni fra noi italiani (in verità io sono italo svizzero).

Ieri ho provato ad utilizzare i paracadutisti italiani e puntualmente, come diagnosticato in un vecchio thread, i cargo che li trasportavano si sono schiantati non appena entrati nella mappa. Pensavo che questo bug fosse stato fissato nella 4.5. Visto che io ho installato una vecchia versione, via via upgradata fino alla 4.5, vorrei sapere se il bug effettivamente c'e' ancora o sono io che ho fatto casino con le varie patch.

Status: offline 		Massimo,con la mia precisazione su quell'"italiani" non volevo prostrarmi di fronte al giogo del politically correct.Ho solo voluto chiarire che non intendevo portare nel forum argomentazioni di carattere politico che potessero risultare sgradite ai più.Qyi si è in una sorta di spazio pubblico ed io intendo rispettare le pluralità di vedute,per cui non mi voglio addentrare nell'ostico terreno di una dissertazione su quanto sia "sbagliato" anche solo il pensare frasi care e note al ventennio.Ribadisco comunque che quell'"italiani" era un'esclamazione ingenua,giusto per dare un titolo all'argomento.PS:detesto anch'io il "politically correct" mutuato dagli americani!!! As regards the political correct or not it's only a question of well behavior that you understand better when you see people talking in US slang and you would like to know if what they say can be interesting or not..listen to me that I have a lot of problem with my English..(sempre odiato a scuola..sempre SEMPRE 5 1/2 FISSO e un anno pure a settembre...) (mai piaciuto!) Non mi è che mi piaccia snobbare l'italiano..tutt'altro..se fosse per me vi costringerei tutti a parlare Latino..è solo che ho avuto modo di scoprire come i membri di questo forum ci tengano a partecipare a ogni topic..non solo a volte sono capitati argomenti interessanti ma in svedese o in spagnolo..per ex su episodi di guerra che potevano interessarmi..non potevo farmi tradurre tutto... Status: offline 		Ciao! E' la prima volta che intervengo in questo forum, ed in effetti mi sento più a mio agio a scrivere in italiano, ma prometto che d'ora in poi userò l'inglese. Ho seguito SPWAW dalla versione 1.0 e sono molto ansioso di vedere la 5. Quando sarà disponibile qualcuno è disposto a fare una partita? Io ho sempre giocato in solitario o face-to-face (essendo un giocatore di wargames tipo ASL da più di 20 anni), ma vorrei provare anche il gioco per posta anche perchè ormai trovare avversari con tempo disponibile è quasi impossibile. Se qualcuno abita dalle mie parti (Genova centro) e oltre che SPWAW fosse interessato anche ai classici wargames, me lo faccia sapere! (sia chiaro che trovo molto divertente anche SPWAW, ma i vecchi amori sono duri a morire). Saluti a tutti!
