ORIGINAL: Ralle But I`m a bit confused which units will be released. If by units you mean new unit graphics, then the answer is none. I can`t include any new graphics in a patch unless I have permission to do so and as far as I understand it H.Balck doesn`t want his newer graphics to be used in any mod here anymore. So that`s that. What I could release is an update that makes the mod fully compatible with the current version of the game (v1.25). In more details: the latest PzC patch adds a whole bunch of units, many of which we already have in the mod, but with different stats and different internal IDs, because the mod came before the official expansion. The problem is that any scenario (all of those of the Soviet Corps expansion for example) using this official patch will have the units designated according to their internal IDs. So, in any such scenario, if you use the equipment file of the mod, the new units introduced for Soviet Corps will simple disappear from maps made with the official equipment file. In addition, the new units from the official content will probably have different stats to their correspondents from the mod and could affect the balance of scenarios using them. The PzC developers have also adjusted a few other values as far as I can see. So, basically, the update I was proposing would merge things so that there are no more conflicts. quote:
As I see it this whole mod only makes sense if every vanilla unit is covered. Replacing every vanilla unit is what I consider the base requirement too. It simply did not happen. Still, there aren`t that many units that have the vanilla graphics. Just a few Finnish and soviet units(no more than a dozen I would guess) that were added for Soviet Corps, the captured units of the British and most captured units of the Germans. The captured units are mostly tanks and recons and I don`t think they`re that obvious in game. Where things are uglier is that most elite units (of all factions) don`t have specific graphics and end up looking the same to the regular units (i.e. the SE Bren Carrier is identical to the regular Bren Carrier etc.). Also, some of the Italian units only have desert uniforms and you`ll see them in shorts during the Russian winter. In the other direction, most German units and a large proportion of the British do not have a desert camo so you`ll see them in grey and green in African scenarios. That`s about it. Once I integrate everything I could make a more detailed list of exactly which units are still using the vanilla graphics (just so that I can tell people reporting them as bugs that they are mentioned in the readme file :D )
