Ok....why can't I create destroyed vehicle/fort units anymore? Used to be I could reduce the number of men to zero and the unit would be "destroyed". Now, when I try it, the editor maintains one guy in the unit. The button in the deploy screen to change number of men has a choice of "1-99". The "D" button, to change unit data, allows me to enter zero for the men, but only reduces it to one. Tried multiple times, no luck. Was this a change from v4.0? If so, it's a REALLY bad one. Will it stay in v5? And if not, could someone tell me how to make units on board destroyed during setup? Thx as always.

press U -key and answer yes. its exploded. And then keep that unit in you TOE unless you want some odd things happen: Remove them and buy Destroyer and deploy it on hills top: you'll have ... And number of men can be set to zero in 4.5, so I remember. Been a while since I last time edited in 4.5 mosh

Thanks for the info. I knew there was a way to do it, but I couldn't remember how. The "U" key for destroying them is fine...but is there a way to create "abandoned" units? I can't seem to get the crews to bail during setup so they can re-man the vehicle later. I know I did this in an earlier version, cuz' my scenario in Madagascar has a couple of abandoned Brit tanks at start.
