Thanks Major. Btw, I tested same scenario without DxWnd and BES but red dots are still there... And with DxWnd/BES same result. Hmm interesting.
I even ran Avast scan (no viruses found). Could those "dots" be some kind of bug?

edit.I just noticed that in scenario Destroy The Port all ships are red dots... Well this problem is larger than I ever imagined... Do I have to reinstall game once again?

edit2. Wake Island scen: all US civilian crew icons are red dots...

Hmm it's better than I stop trying all other scens to save my poor mental health (not so serious though;))

The OOB files have changed since those scenarios were build. For example if the scenario is using a unit that has then been deleted or moved around in the oob you will get a wrong graphic displaying for the unit. In SPWAW this graphic defaults to Icon0000 and the image # 0. For example in the Camo Workshop games you get units on the map displaying an Icon with the text OOB ERROR or something similar. In the Enhanced mod you get those red diamods with a dot in the center. And in the original SPWAW game you get a halftrack icon.

So it is nothing to worry about and can be fixed by editing the scenario.

Riitaoja, thanks about info but does it mean that I must re-fix all icons with Editor myself? I'm afraid that there's more scens than those mentioned above... It will take time to search and fix all one by one. Well, if there's no alternatives I just have to start fix them.

PS. Has anybody else seen those dots in same scens as me? Riitaoja?

If you have multiple scenarios with issues then there might be something wrong with the oob's too. I do not have enhanced scenarios at hand now and I have not played the enhanced version much so I do not recall these scenarios. Maybe it is best to wait for a reply from Major Mess.

Riitaoja do you mean that you have only "vanilla" version of SPWAW? I have SPWAW 2016 (I had Enhanced version earlier).

Btw, I noticed if I choose Japan unit which has knee mortar sq, it shows ok in game. Interesting isn't it? Why they refuse to show in scens? Very mystic...

Ok I just checked these two scenarios in SPWAW 2016.
245 * Destroy the Port
248 * Raider Attack Redux
Both scenarios showed up fine and no red diamonds.

I just checked out #248 Raider Redux.
Everything was fine.

Sami, are you having any Hiisi problems where you live?

Ha ha ha

That's what I get for using the Internets.

According to an unreliable source a Hiisi was some sort of Finnish bridge troll, or something. Trying to be funny ... in over my head

Hey Mess say "Vesihiisi sihisi hississä!" as fast as you can.

Sami it looks like there is something wrong with your SPWAW 2016 installation. Do you still have the Installer packgage? It should be named "SPWaW 2016.exe" and the file size should be 739 Mb.

This is the link where I downloaded it:
http://spwaw.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=28076&sid=97fda3997ba3c17140dd7596d3ff0e36

You could also try installing it to a different folder.

Yeah exactly same exe and size. My folder is now "c:\SPWAW 2016". How using different folder affects in this case? Fox example, my SPWW2/MBT are in similar paths (c:\WinSPWW2 and c:\WinSPMBT) but they are ok in every level. What comes to SPWAW, I have already reinstalled game once. Should I try second reinstall? It's possible that installation file somehow failed because in Battle Generator those icons are ok but not in scenarios...

edit. I reinstalled SPWAW once again into c:\SPWAW 2016\SPWAW subfolder. Now everything seems to be ok! Then I copied all into main folder and removed subfolder. No red dots in Raider Redux scenario anymore.

My guess is that something was locking up the files and prevented all the files from updating in that folder. Or perhaps something was automaticaly replacing the files with old versions.

Maybe a Windows 10 feature? Or perhaps some over protective anti virus program? Also some computers come with all sorts of automatic backup and file protection software pre-installed when you buy them.

Then when you Installed the game to a new folder it probably reset the file lock up/ protection. Again I am just guessing here and I might be completely wrong.

Main thing is that you got it working in the end.

Don't worry about it, you got it right. When I watched Lord of the Rings, word "goblins" was subtitled as "hiisiä", which in singular is "hiisi". Then again, finnish subtitles aren't always right. For some reason subtitle writers translate "star system" to "galaksi" = "galaxy", most recently in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and I've seen it elsewhere too. And "Russia" is often translated as "Neuvostoliitto" = "Soviet Union". What's up with those translations?

SPWAW installs separately from your regular SPWAW

I found one bug. T-26E M39 icon has only turret, no chassis... Can anyone else confirm?

Well I started campaign game as Russian and noticed that T-26E had only turret icon... Something went wrong?

PS. Icon number is 113 in OOB Editor.
PPS. I changed 113 into 1069 (as T-26 in Finnish OOB) and now it's okay:)
