I have purchased every one through FM 2017 and I have a combined 4600 hours between them.

I could not write anything about them that has not already been written by the hundreds of thousands of other loyal fans.
I say that my first game in the series was Championship Manager 01/02 and I have owned every one since.
They got me into European football and now I have a favorite club for pretty much every nation on earth and behind professional basketball it is my second favorite sport.

I am not a big fan of US football. That being said, Madden is fun but not a management game by any means. When I do purchase it I almost always wait until March or so when the price is slashed and the rosters and ratings are updated by the just completed season.
I play mostly franchise mode and always have fun with it and get my $25 out of it.

But there is no good current US football management game.
The three sports that have good management games are European football, hockey and baseball.
Also Starters Orders is good for horse racing management but is more niche and not as polished and the 'big three'
Which I consider to be Football Manager, Eastside Hockey Manager and Out of the Park Baseball.

I would love to have a quality professional basketball management game but sadly none exists even though basketball is arguably moved into the second most popular sport in the world.
