Outside of the usual "Don't let the AI do my turn." when someone is away, nothing new. Consolidation, building supply lines, resting during the winter...

What should I make of this.....

"If a player doesn't want anyone to open his turn and we have to wait a week, that's no problem. It is more a serious issue if turns are done slowly. Playing only two turns a week in a 400 turns scenario will take us 200 weeks, which is around four years."

I *know* what I think....

Not much to do until spring. Still in January 1806.

Still nothing much. Just the closest enemy force, and the result of Austria trying to force a war.

Current turn.

This chart shows the strengths for the last ten turns starting from 9 turns ago to now.(Reading left to right.)

As the offensive stopped because of the weather, strength has gone up.

So the plan for the brits and Russians? wait a few years Then Spain, England, and Russia will come to Crush you. Where is France on the comparison board?

Look up a couple of posts.

Okay, I missed the French in the upper left graphic. Now I see, Britain and Russia are the only countries that could offer resistance.

Not much of a resistance. Eventually I'll get around to driving the Brits out of Brest. And Prussia/Russia stood by and let Austria fight alone.

Now that Austria is out until 1808, Russia is letting Prussia fight alone.

Nope. I'm sure they're reading this one. I know the Austrian player has.

And don't comment on Strategy or the lack thereof Zap, it usually brings them out of the wood work and they get ornery.

Okay, you have my curiosity. What were the results after you took over (casualties? experience?) give us the lowdown! News is sparse so any movement is big news.

I can't say how much experience is gained, as that is a *long*, slow, road. Battles don't tell you.

Each regiment aka element earns exp points. One regiment started at 1 star. 60 turns latter (now), it's 5pts from getting it's third.

HQ units train every unit in the stack. Some leaders, Davout for one, also trains. I don't think that the effects stack

Time for a vent.

The current host is sending me emails that claim he has all orders but mine. A quick check of the dropbox shows otherwise.

This has happened twice. This time I replied with a picture of said box

I suspect that he is trying to get the slowpokes to get moving by getting me to post. Why do I suspect that? Because he emailed me stating that.

Due to some personal stuff I do not want to get into, I don't have the time in front of my machine.

And his "Under no circumstances will I use the AI." nonsense creates a problem that he won't solve.

So, if necessary, I will drop out.

I know you've put a bit of time into this one, but it might be time to just cut your losses and drop out. Honestly I don't know how you have done it as long as you have. Nobody wants to be known as the guy who dropped out of the game, but I think you've put your time in here.

I just did. He still claims to have everyone's orders, but there are orders from three players still in the dropbox. Plus replays for five players. (I delete mine on principle.)

So, I quit and deleted the dropbox.

I'm going to continue this as each nation, for now.

Looking at Spain... For some reason that is beyond me, Spain has built *no* divisions. Even though they are fighting Portugal, she has a bunch of small stacks that if attacked will suffer a 35% penalty. And the army commander is sitting in Madrid. Not smart when you're at war. On top of breaking the alliance with France.

So divisions are being built, as is a Corps. And Godoy is heading for the front.

Turkey: Not fighting anyone. I'm thinking they should either fight Russia or Eqypt. I have to wonder why Austria isn't fighting Turkey as they're at peace with France. Have to wonder why Russia isn't either, being that they run away from the French armies.

Austria: For some reason only known to the previous player, they have been hording EPs. And *not* rebuilding the army.

This is a player who was trying to goad France into a renewal of the war. A war they made no preparations to fight.

So I fixed that.

If you're looking to fight the strongest power, you don't do it by refusing to repair and improve the army.

The one screenshot was cut, hence the name of what it is.
