The cavalry unit has zero carrying capacity. However, on the TOE designer, you can put, e.g., 10 cavalry units, 9 riflemen and 1 mortar and 3 MG and you can see that it still says under speed "cavalry". If you add a 10th rifleman, it drops to foot speed.

Question ... if the cavalry unit has no carry capacity (and it does not), then why can you attach units into this unit along with the 10 cavalry and still have the speed of cavalry? I assumed that if you add even just 1 rifleman to 10 cavalry, it would drop the speed from cavalry to foot speed. Please tell me what I am not getting here (possible bug or I am missing something in my understanding of what "zero carry capacity" means). I asked this question on Steam a week ago but no responses there. Thx, and I hope all of you enjoy the game as much as I do.

Hi there,

In fact its due to it being a preview of the moveType. Its not always exactly correct. You'll will see the rules are correctly applied when you actually have your unit on the map.
