Just played my first scenario - Training One. Mostly a learning scenario and my American forces got pretty much destroyed, although I held on to the Victory Point Objectives long enough to win.

But - here's the thing - I must be missing something on the graphics side. When I first tried to launch the game, it wouldn't let me. Got a popup window that said my graphics display setting wasn't supported - that the game only supported (and then listed what is supported). I have a 30" monitor, normally set to 2560 x 1600, and that wasn't one of the choices. Only way I could get the game to launch was to change the monitor settings using my control panel, then start the game.

That can't be right, can it? I'm not a programmer, but I've been playing games for a long time, more than I could possibly count, and I've never seen a game where display settings had be be changed globally in order to get it to work. Everything that I've ever seen lets you set the game display IN GAME, not with the control panel. So - if I have to alt-tab out of the game to do something - check email, work on something else while game is paused - I'm stuck with a reduced size monitor?!

I've very much hoping that this is just my error, that there's something I'm not getting. As a good friend puts it - hopefully the problem is somewhere between my keyboard and the back of my chair.

Crossing my fingers. This isn't a game killer, but...well...it is pretty annoying...

NuuU! The game won't run on my POS work computer. Now I have to "get sick" and "go home for the rest of the day to rest".

"Failed to create LOS image (2480x5310 pixels) due to not enough GRAPHICS memory on the video card, Tigers on the Hunter will not terminate."

That's the error. It's an Intel HD Graphics card with 1.5GB of RAM on card. Not the best card sure, but for graphics like this should be suitable right?

No it doesn't. The game can be played on both those resolutions.

What about 1920x1200? That is my native screen resolution. Is that supported, please?

Thanks again for your quick response - but it didn't fix things for me. Please see my response on the thread to which you referred me.

Thx

Is resolution done by first adjusting desktop resolution then launching game? Or is there something in game I missed?

You can adjust the resolution of your desktop or you can adjust it in the ini file and tell it to run in a pseduo windowed mode.

Played ok at 1920x1080 on widescreen monitor. Changed over to 58" TV and says it can't display? Set at 1920x1080 also on TV.All other games no problem.

Please add 3840 by 2160 - standard UHD. It will become a standard definition in a few years (and I have that now...)

Yes, which is why I asked for it to be added.
