As many of you know, I am the programmer on the new Victory & Glory: Napoleon game. I want to urge players of "Hannibal" to check this game out and give it serious consideration. I think that you'll find it to be a worthy effort.

Also, I am curious if some of the features in "Napoleon" - such as the automatic assignment of activations - are features that you'd like to see in "The Fall of Rome."

Naturally, it's hard for me to be objective about this.

But I think that it has a number of features that will appeal to people who liked "Hannibal."

I have been following closely the development of Victory & Glory: Napoleon and it is definitely on my must buy list.

Yeah, I've also been keeping an eye on this game. It seems to have quite a lot in common with the design of Hannibal; if it plays even half as well, it's going to be a classic. :)

But I'll have to actually play it first before saying more about its features.

Hi Again,

I'm enjoying Victory and Glory; some things that I'd like to see carried over to Rome:

a variant of the 'Corps d'Armee' card. (I like the idea of nearby units helping)

The 3 battle control options (total, limited, auto) Awesome!

The automatic assignment of activations seems fine so far.

Some things missing from Victory And Glory I'd like to see:

A 'General' indicator on map.... "large Army Symbol" with General and "Smaller symbol" No General, would work IMHO

A way to 'Organizing the Cards' (with Hannibal I kept cards of the same type together, can't do that in V&G:N)

Tool tips
