Mike, I would be happy to send you a save file, but I'm not sure it's going to be of any help, since there is no one point in time when it becomes sluggish - it's sluggish from the very beginning. The problem first appears when loading a scenario. I just reinstalled 815 and loaded "Down Town". The Side selection and briefing comes up and then the Realism Settings sub-window appears over it - but only partially. At this point, everything freezes until - and here it has stalled with the Realism Settings sub-window only partially installed (weirdly it is only partially overlaid on the Side selection sub-window. Once I start the game, the windows disappear, but everything is glacial - except, if I access the dropdown menu in Time Compression, the time compression feature works better than I have ever seen in work - it really speeds up the game. I just did another test, loading Take It Brave York. It loads up to the Side selection and briefing sub window which is not completely drawn (there are rectangular cutouts and in place you can see through to the Load Scenario window. Interestingly, in the upper left, the windows banner still shows that Down Town is loaded. If I move my mouse, the Load Scenario window disappears and the Side selection and briefing window is then complete. When I click "Enter Scenario", I get a Command Warning that Area Validation for support mission 'Air Traffic' has FAILED. When I click ok, it disappears as per normal. This takes me to the "Realism Settings" box as per normal. When I click Discard Changes and Start, nothing happens. The box stays on the screen, but it won't let me click the button multiple times, so that window is frozen. If I move my mouse around enough, the box disappears. Once I hit start, the game start, but it nothing happens for 4 to 6 seconds. I counted to 36 before the Zulu Time advanced 1 second. The game ran normally for 12 seconds and has gone glacial again. I then accessed the Time Compression dropdown menu and man, it's like it's on jet fuel! Usually time compression is a little more sluggish than the degree of compression states. I also thought it might be related to Microsoft's update of last night (they also updated Windows 7) - but when I reverted to Build 811, everything ran fine. If you would like to send me Builds 812, 813, and 814, I would be happy to load them one by one and see if the slowdown is triggered in one of those builds. Sorry for such a long message - it's a difficult issue to describe. Using the Matrix version. Windows is in English
