An awful lot of folks don't know stuff because they didn git a proper edication. If any of those folks are here in the forum, I just want to express to them Newton's third law of thermodynamics. It is as follows: Ah wont wot ah wont 'cause ah wont it!

Here is some wisdom from Carl Jung, even if he never thought it or said it. We are all self-portraits.

Yes, but I am not quite convinced yet the Gorn is a minimalist. Now if every subsequent post he makes has that number of characters in it, I will believe it!

I was thinking more along the lines of this guy - the Gorn's human counterpart?

- has a warped mind ... check
- big teeth ... check
- evil eyes ... check
- rumored to eat humans on occasion ... check

In response to the above comment on Newton's laws. The way I learned them in collage chemistry was...

1) You can't win.
2) You can't break even.
3) You can't get out of the game.

I'm sorry; I meant to say the Gorn is a 'Dodoist', one who believes in the power of flightless, extinct, Dodo birds.

Collage chemistry? Sounds very "French" and "artsy".

Having read many of the Gorn's posts over the years, I'm prone to believing that he is a 'dodoist', but with a slightly different definition than what you propose.

Point of order: these are humorous paraphrases of the laws of thermodynamics, not Newton's laws of motion.

Whoa there! The aforementioned oarsman seems to be paddling towards Mr. Jaws. Perhaps he needs a coxswain?

He is not rowing - he is paddling a sea kayak (single oar with two blades) which requires you to face forward in the direction of travel.

A coxswain would still be a good idea, someone to shove in the water in order to get a few extra strokes in.
