Yes I saw that. I think they are a bit late for Gibraltar - unless you can get Michael Fish doing the weather

That being the case these are sensible builds anyway in terms of options and to keep the CW needing to keep units in the UK.

Yes but not as in CW at the expense of the USSR - surely that ship has sailed?

So they take Gibraltar early this turn. Then what? What do they do while they are transporting units from Spain to Poland?

Seek to kick the CW/French out of North Africa I guess - but surely they will still attack the USSR? - unless they don't to try and keep the US out for longer? Nah.... its got to be the USSR as soon as enough units are ready, and in the meantime the Med.....

And if I am wrong you can call me Ormster for the remainder of the game.

BTW: US entry into the war is not all that long away. Edit: At least not DOW attempts.

Status: offline 		Just keep fighting on the Spanish front no matter what, even if the front line moves to Morocco. A couple US units and airplanes make a difference there quick.

Status: offline 		The order has actually gone out to hold Morocco, Malta, Egypt, and Bilbao at all costs. Gibraltar is just the first line of defence.

Eh... and with all costs we, of course, means a reasonable cost.

Status: offline 		Ormster I was torn as to doing a naval with the CW - and so maximise the warship/convoy/shore bombardment position OR a combined which compromised that but allowed three organised units back in Gibraltar.

I went for the Combined in the end, with fleets in the Western Med and Bay of Biscay to provide some degree of shore bombardment support for units on the Rock and in the Basque country.

Status: offline 		Well that could have been better - could have been worse. I achieved what I wanted to in Gibraltar although would have been nice to get a hit on one of those Infantry Corps. I just hope that the limitations of a combined does not come back and bite the CW on the bum.

More concerning is the China situation thanks to the loss of Changsha. I hope my move back into the mountains meets with your approval - the Chinese units are such low value - even in mountains they are in trouble in single stacks.

I couldn't think of anything in particular to do with the Americans that can't wait for an impulse or two.

Status: offline 		The Americans are sending out their convoys to transport build points and oil to France and CW. Latest US entry options allows US convoy points to be used for this purpose.

Status: offline 		Well the north is going to receive good weather - but the Japanese are largely disorganised so we can hold here - at least for the present.

In the south we try and maintain the mountain positions, falling back gradually - once clear of the mountains we are screwed.
