Take a look at this bunch of new screenshots, showing the improved map and the general artwork of the units coming with the new Steam version, on April 28th!

+1

Thinking of buying the game but these new graphics won't be the reason.

I couldn't agree more; give us some really sharp, WITE/TOAW like, classic old school cardboard counters!!

Great Counters.

I wouldn't buy a game with only NATO Counters or where I couldn't mod them out - ever. It was the reason I chose the first Decisive Campaigns over WITE. I then made my own Non-Nato-Symbol-set for WITE.

I am very happy that guys like me don't get neglected.

Pretty sure the thread meant to "reveal" rather than "revel" the new map artwork :)

There should be a counter mode that pleases almost everybody now.

We have nato and siluet modes as well as regular and simple modes, that can be used in any configuration.

In the above screenies you see the siluet + simple mode. In regular mode and zoomed-in the siluet mode will also show a small nato graphic.

Best wishes,
Vic

Hi there,

1. Zooming in should do the trick.

2. Or... if you are loading a saved game started with an older version its normal behaviour.

Best wishes,
Vic

I would love it if I could choose the counter design for the counters on the map and the counters on the unit display separately.
That would be perfect to me.

Hi spinecruncher,

You have to zoom in to get the fancy counters. There is also a button down the bottom (shortcut 'O') which allows you to toggle between different counter modes. You want the silhouette style and to be zoomed in.

Cheers,
Cameron
