I have changed the posture of a german army, because this army had a lot of divisions with high fatigue.
This army had the blitzkrieg posture and it has now the sustained offensive posture.
A lot of divisions have high fatigue, but don't seem suffering from a lack of AP or a low readiness.
After the posture change, these divisions have more than 100 AP, 100 readiness and have high fatigue (22 or 23).

(I'm playing with the v103 beta ).

Hi there,

Thanks for reporting. Personally I am not sure if it is intended or not. Might be due to motorized troops not losing AP with fatigue. Cameron will be back in office soon again (early next week latest) and respond to this one.

Best wishes,
Vic

Hi Gribeauval,

Can you ask one of these divisions to 'Report Status!' (report button down the on the bottom bar) and see if it's taking into account the fatigue? You could also do it via one of the Army Reports that list all modifiers for every Division.

It's possible that the fatigue is being taken into account but that it's automatically recovering a set amount (which it will if in full supply) that mitigates the effect.

Cheers,
Cameron

Hello Cameron,
yes, high fatigue is reported.
I can give you examples.
A division has a level of fatigue of 21 (-21%readiness -20AP) : it has 120 AP and a readiness of 100.
Another division has a level of fatigue of 23 (-23% readiness and -20 AP) : it has 115 AP and a readiness of 100.

A division of the same army that has a level of fatigue of 8 (low fatigue) has also 120 AP and a readiness of 100.
(there is no difference between low fatigue and high fatigue).

I must say that I have a very strong relation with the theater commander (+34), but it should give AP bonus, not readiness bonus.

(Anyway, I have a saved game if you want).

Hi Gribeauval,

Sounds like it's working O.K.

Units lose readiness from movement and combat and recover it from supply. If the units in question are very inactive they will auto recover a certain loss of readiness due to fatigue.

Once you start giving your units a workout - movement and combat, you should see lower levels of readiness.

AP penalties from fatigue kick in at fatigue levels of 10 or higher.

There can be many offsetting AP factors that would counter a loss of fatigue and still have you units showing high AP. The Report Status! button should let you know what's going on here. You should see a drop in AP from the fatigue and an increase from something else.

See how you go. If this doesn't resolve it probably best to send me a save game.

Cheers,
Cameron

I believe that something is wrong.

I have attached a saved game.

I have launched a second game as german.
Again, I have changed the posture of some armies : "blitzkrieg" has become "sustained offensive".
Again, I get an army with a lot of High Fatigue units, but with a lot of APs for each division.

In this saved game, look at the 17th army : it has the sustained offensive posture (it is the first turn that it reaches this posture).
Look at it divisions (for instance, the closest : the 295th infantry div.). This division has high fatigue according to its report.
Now, press REPS - Units modifiers - 17th army.
In the list of units that is displayed, there is no mention of high fatigue and loss of APs for this 295th division.

It is the same thing for all the highly fatigued divisions of the 17 th army.

If you choose an highly fatigued division of another amy that has Blitzkrieg posture, you can read in REPs - unit modifiers : "high fatigue - 20AP etc."

Regards.

Hi Gribeauval,

Thanks for the save and yes, there does appear to be a small hiccup with the fatigue.

I'll take a look but whatever is happening, it isn't penalising you.

Cheers,
Cameron

Has this been determined to be a bug, or has this been resolved? Thanks.

Hi Balto,

It was a bug, thanks to Gribeaval for the notification.

Fixed in the latest Beta patch. Check the comments under 'Pending Update' on the main page.

Cheers,
Cameron
