I have just tried to update both WitW and WitE (I haven't used that for a bit) and both detect updates (through the startup 'check for updates') but produce an error when trying to download them. Is there a server problem this morning?

Aha, having that issue myself for WitE, but last several days. My case could be due to recent downloading but maybe others might have such issues.

Could be your AV. I have to download the updates manually ever since getting McAfee.

Interesting. It was the AV. Maybe something they did when they updates fr W10 or something.

Many anti virus are suspicious of downloads which do not have a lot of previous downloads.
Therefore attempting this in early days fails, as more download it the AV accepts it.
