Italian Supply Marker

Italian Supply Marker - 4/30/2016 2:45:39 AM

Hi,

I started up a competitive game, had a master plan and was undone by a bug. I was *very* encouraged by how the game is working better, but being completely unable to build Italian supply markers ruined my Med first strategy.

To build a supply marker, you must use at least one oil point in production. During production Italy builds the number of production points, which are multiplied by their production multiple of .75, which produces their spendable build points.

Unfortunately this rule does not work. It is a standard rule, not an optional. I have tried to fix the issue by

1) Idling the Sardinia resource and use an oil point.
2) Using 10 resources, and 1 oil point in the final Italian factory.

In neither case was I able to build the supply marker.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not sure where you got the idea that you only require at least one oil point in production to build supply units.

Rule 22.4.10 says

They cost 3 build points and may only be built if all the resources consumed in producing these build points were oil.

So, by my reading, if your production multiple is only .75, then you going to need 4 oil resources sent to 4 different factories to get those 3 build points you require (all generated from oil resources).

That reading is correct.
