Germans moved several stacks into the N. Sea and stopped there (therefore I did not have you intercept). I am now moving the Gn. through (it left from Kiel), do you want to intercept?

Yes. Use the French BB Bretagne to attempt the intercept.

You found on a 2, so I stopped in the North Sea 2-box.

Round 1, surface, no damage to CW covering CA. GE sub avoided the abort. Staying for round 2?

2nd round in N. Atlantic, axis roll 10, allies a 6 -> no further contact
Faeroes Gap Ge sum initiates, axis roll 3, allies roll 6 -> no contact
North Sea CA Blucher initiates, axis roll 1, allies roll 8

GE engage 2-box only with 7 surprise points. Spend 2 to reduce the damage on the Ge ships to D 3A. Allies take a X 3A result. Spend 3 sp to select the transport for the X. it survives damaged on a roll of 7. Who do you want to take the A's.

(1) Aborts on the transport until it's aborted.

(2) Abort on French CA. If 1/2 abort then abort on the other French CA.

(3) The allies will stay.

(4) If combat ends, the aborted TRS goes to London and any French aborts go to Brest.

Allies made every damage control roll that mattered. Germans failed. Training, Training, Training!
Germans abort the zone.

JF40. Allied #7. Weather.

1. I'm not sure what exactly to make of this weather roll. It feels like a bad roll for the allies.

2. Pat, I'll need any naval / sub units still at sea that initiated, or tried to initiate, a naval combat last impulse so I can use the debug tool to disorganize them.

3. I'm headed off to bed so that's all for me tonight.

Yep, I listed them in the post above as they came up. Here is the consolidated list
CSV, 2 pt sub initiated combat axis rolled 4, allies 5 -> no combat
N. Atlantic, GE sub initiated, axis roll a 1, allies roll a 3 -> combat in next post.
Faeroes Gap Ge sub initiates, axis roll 3, allies roll 6 -> no contact
North Sea CA Blucher initiates, axis roll 1, allies roll 8

Sleep well.

JF40. Allied #7. Actions.

There's a 10% chance that the turn will end on this impulse.

There's a possible naval battle in the Western Med initiated by the French.

Do the Italians wish to commit either or both their NAV and fighter?

I will commit no extra troops. Avoid combat if I have the option.

JF40. Allied #7. West Med. Naval Search.

The search rolls go the allies way and result in 8 surprise points for the allies. The allies use 4 points to choose a surface battle.

JF40. Allied #7. West Med. Surface Battle.

I took the liberty of applying the damage in a way that maximizes the chance that the Italian cruiser would survive. It turns out that it really didn't matter. Both the Italian cruiser and CP are sunk.

The allies stay. Do you wish to stay with the Italian fighter, which is in the zero box?

Italian fighter stays. Second round search rolls, allies 10 and axis 9. The naval combat in the West Med ends for this impulse.

Here is the first portions of the axis moves.
The Italians moved a CP into the Italian coast. Since they were stopping I did not roll for intercept for you.
The Italians initiated naval combat in the N. Atlantic and there was contact (see image below). The German sub engaged the convoys and was aborted (failed it's damage roll for an A - forgot to take an image of that screen). The program automatically applied the damage to the convoys. I'm assuming you will stay for the second round, Italians can find on a 1.
