In a game I am playing against the AI it just bombarded Truk! I was so amazed I took a screenshot.

I'm playing Japan and I own everything outside of Australia and the island with Noumea on it (scen 17). I had removed all of the search planes from Truk so I never even saw them comming. I've always criticized the AI for not being aggressive enough when it comes to its strategic goals but this sure surprised me. It's sobering to think what would have happened if it had been an invasion fleet. Against human players I never strip Truk down to bare bones. I guess I will have to adopt this philosophy with the AI as well.

Has anyone else seen the AI bombard Truk?
