The mission started and I soon discovered a goblin, and before I knew it a torpedo was dropped on it by an il-38 I think this sent the Coalition hostile as I then shot down all their aircraft. However I'm not hostile with Turkey (yet).

What was the RoE against sub-surface targets set to? If it was "free", the Il-38 would have/should have attacked as that specifies that all contacts not positively ID'd as friendly should be fired upon.

If, however, it was either "tight" (fire upon positively-ID'd hostile targets; what it is set at by default on my copy) or "hold" (fire in self-defense or manually only), it shouldn't be.

Did you manage to grab a save?
