ORIGINAL: Bullwinkle58 Your switches don't have an x,y resolution switch set. Can't really tell from the game portion you show, but it looks like your desktop and the game are running at different resolutions. And the game looks like it's higher than the native resolution, which shouldn't happen without a -px -py switch. You might experiment with adding a -px -py switch and see what happens. Also play with -w and -f. But I'd suspect video drivers first, as has been suggested. A bad update can involve those. If he's playing in full screen, which he is since he doesn't have -w in there, then he doesn't need the -px/-py switches. The game will default to his default resolution. OK, but the desktop and the game are at different resolutions. The game is higher. The game also looks higher than native, but it's been so long since I haven't had a -px -py I don't recall. It almost looks like the desktop is running at the game's native rez, and the game is running where most modern PCs would have the desktop. IOW, reversed. I don't know how that could happen. It looks, size-wise, fine to me. What I'm seeing is the game is failing to render certain portions of the screen and is instead showing the desktop, which is weird.
