Status: offline 		Our fifth game is about to start. This time you are about to see something different so that no one else have to do it again...

Here are optional rules.

Edited in 1939 N/D: Germany attacks USSR and leaves France alone (unless they do something very stupid). At some point Germany might attack France, but the idea is to test how bad Germany can hit USSR in early 1940 and how bad Allies can hit Germany when France does not collapse. I believe Allies will win, but I want to see how it happens.

Status: offline 		One house rule in play, which is to simulate en-route interception.

Attacking planes can't fly through defending fighters on the way to target, without a chance of interception. The attacking player announces intention of a bombing mission and whether it will fly in range of defending fighters. If defending player wishes to intercept, attacking player attacks a target in range of fighters. If not, then target as normal. If attacking player can plot a course avoiding defending fighters (possibly by having to use extended range) then all well and good.

Having made such a Horlicks of the last game, I am playing Allies this time around. Mayhemizer has a little experiment he's considering (or maybe not as by setting up last, it could all be a bluff).

Time will tell.

Status: offline 		Germany and Japan land, Italy combined.

Germany sends fighter to North Sea box 2.

Italy sends TRS to Red Sea and picks up INF.

Japan ground strikes Tungkwan (3 factor bomber) and Chengchow (3+2).

Polish pilots thinks they are safe but Ju88 uses extented range (2+2) to prevent pilots leaving to UK.

Both Lodz (5) and Warsaw (5) take few bombs from Stukas.

Status: offline 		Polish CA and CP are forced to rebase from Danzig. Where do they want to go? Do they move together or one by one as Germany can intercept them in North Sea.

Both Japan and Germany used HQ support and ground support in their attacks to cities.

Europe after Germany has placed their reserves.

For some reason some of the German units are moving south from Polish border...

Gort loads onto the Queens at Portsmouth and heads to Biscay 2-box. They are joined by 2 loaded Trans plus 3 CV, 2 BB and 2 CA from Plymouth.

French Trans loads Inf at Beruit and brings it to Nice. 2 French CA's load 2 Inf Divs at Algiers and bring them back to Nice. Subs head to the Italian Coast 4-box and 2-box. 2 CA'sgo to the West Med 4-box and East Med 4-box.

US sends a P-40 direct to Pearl, plus Nimitz and a Nav to Hawaiian Is 0-box.

RAF Harrows bomb Essen, while the Hampdens go for Dusseldorf.

The French target the German oil fields.

The Harrows have no effect.

Status: offline 		US rails an Inf Div from east to west.

Russia rails an Inf from Siberia towards the west.

The Communists abandon Tungkwan. Russia moves a couple of units in Siberia. Chinese cavalry scout forwards to west of Ichang, while Inf units advance to Lake Langtse.

Gort and 2 Mot disembark to St Nazaire and Lorient. Nimitz lands at Pearl.

The Polish air force gets itself interned by fleeing to Kaunas. Hurricane rebases to Dover. US Hudson unloads at Pearl.

No reorgs.

Weather stays fine.
