I know it's possible to bomb Railway yards which are in cities, what I was wondering does this slow down or stop the movement of troops if damaged ? And if it does, how long does it take to repair ? I was going to try a little "interdiction" to perhaps stop/slow down Factories heading east and the flow of troops heading west. Anyone any thoughts on this or tried it ? Thanks for reading.

No, it doesn't slow down in this way. It just reduces amount of rail capacity available globally.

damaged railways should impact total usable railway points, so yes this will limit your opponent in rail movement.

I have no clue on the effectiveness of this though, it wont be great, but maybe not completely out of the realms of viability

Ok thanks for the help and advice, now going away to see which cites they are located in. Maybe something to consider for a Patch or for the new edition perhaps ?

Bombing of Soviet rail yards in WITE is not a viable ploy. The effect is minimal.

Are you saying that bombing rail yards in WITE 1.0 is a good idea?

I don't know anything about WITE 2.0. I am not a tester.

I may be wrong, but I was always under the impression that the reducing of the rail capacity,
effect the supplies to front line troops & that its has an overall effect all along the front.
