Crashing Unit Status Buttons - 9/11/2016 3:01:40 PM

Hello,

I am using v1.11 SR4 Build 839.7. On the right side panels under "UNIT STATUS" clicking on any button (Sensors, Weapons, etc) will immediately cause a crash-to-desktop with no errors reported. Every time, every scenario, every unit. I can click on other right side panels without issue (Doctrine and RoE, Unit Weapons, etc). I can also right click on the unit and use all menus there including those on the right panel without issue.

This continues after doing an uninstall, deleting old folders, redownloading all content (1.10 full, 1.11 SR4, DB, Images, scenarios). I also ran all pre-requisites. This is on Win7 64 with AV turned off during install. Also tried running with AV off during scenario - no change.

I tried the base 1.10 and 1.11 with no outside DB or images, same result. This happens whether I am running 30 seconds or three hours. I had been away from CMANO for awhile so I can't say when this may have started.

Save file attached, but, this happens on anything. I also have log files I will attach to following messages.

Thank you for any help.

Joe L.

Can you make sure you don't have another Command directory somewhere on the PC?

I am asking because I have see similar issues relating to having updates scattered across multiple directories.

Just checked - no other instances of files or folders elsewhere.

Downloaded the RedstoneFix2 and restarted. Takes significantly longer to load.

Still does not work, but, I now get numerous error boxes:
-OnThreadException
-theEx != null
-e.Exception.GetType().Name: TypeInitialazationException
-theEx.Message:The type intializer for
'System.Windows.Automation.Peers.AutomationPeer' threw an exception.

then one that has about 30+ lines, then
-theEx.InnerException.GetType().Name: TypeInitialazationException

Attached is an exception log that does not seem to show much.

Thanks.

Joe

For me it seems Command did not like the version of UIAutomationCore.dll in my Windows System32/SysWOW64 folders. I dropped a different version in the main Command folder and so far so good.
