M/J 41 weather is fine. japan armor in chunking. Yamamoto is four hex in the rear, all four intervening hexs with japan land unit. umezu is two hex rear of Yamamoto linked to rail-japan. so for the rules the armor hae to be in supply. apparently supply bridge of two secondary supply don't work: unit at four hex from umezu or tarauchi or yamamoto are in supply if the HQ trace directly to a primary source.

Can you post a picture?

It takes one hex when supply comes over the sea?

It's a bug. Umezu can trace to Japan, Yamamoto can trace to Umezu.

to add more fun: next impulse was storm: so all have to be out of supply as Umezu lack the point after the sea. but all was in supply: they use the burma road as rail :) (i don't have a save for this sorry :)) two implulse later all ok.

It's allowed to use the Birma road for supply purposes. So if it was cleared of enemy units, that shouldn't be a bug.

Surely OOS. 2 hexes to the Burma Road. Whither then? If Basic, then that's it. If Railway, then must go to a Primary Supply Source, which requires another hex for the overseas bit.

The weather is clear. There is always a basic supply path of 4 hexes in MWIF due to the unified map. That means four MP to Yamamoto out of Chungking and than 2 MP from Yamamoto to Umezu. From Umezu it is 2 MP to the railroad, after which 1 MP is added for going overseas to Japan.

Therefore: not out of supply at all...

Ah! I thought you were responding to quiritus's post immediately above yours where he reports storm.

OK. But on that response I added: "So if it (i.e. Birma Road) was cleared of enemy units, that shouldn't be a bug."

So that really depends on the situation at that point, for which there isn't a gamesave in here...
