In my own stupidity I managed to get about 3/4 of the 4th panzer group lost in 1941 due to one oversight. I didn't realize Soviet CV increases AND German CV decreases during a blizzard. I thought it was just a German CV decrease. I was too aggressive and didnt realize this until it was too late, and late mud killed any chance of a late withdrawal. (weather forecasts are not exactly reliable either). The only somewhat good news in all of this is it happened on the 1st turn of the blizzard. So I say another 8 turns they may be ready for action...of course a shell of what they once were. Im usually good for one absolutely idiotic move a game...this is pretty fatal, but may not be a total show stopper. Other than the panzer disaster in army group north everything else was going well.

So what were everyone else's worst moves?

I did something similar against Chaos but it was equivalent to 3 panzer groups.

As Soviet player, I killed Zhukov on June 22nd 1941, because I didn't know voluntary relocation of isolated HQ was nearly a death sentence, and I was clicking relocate multiple times to get one HQ east. It cycled through many leaders and at one point I was to realize Zhukov was put in charge of it.

My worst move was challenging Sillyflower to a game of WitE as he is probably one of the best players on the forum, I then compounded the error by having the temerity to challenge Michael T who is most likely the best player that I will play in this game. That being said I enjoyed and am enjoying playing both of my opponents, even if it is a steep learning curve.

My worst move was buying this game.

I absolutely love it and it takes far to much time away from that thing called "Real Life".

Worst move, well as the Russians I become complacent when the AXIS runs out of steam, so I stand and fight, only to get belted.

Mistakes I make are usually UI errors, ie moving one unit in a stack of three, only to find that I have moved all three, and it can't be undone.

And the golden rule is never play this game when you are tired.

Yeah...it p.sses me off too, in fact WITE2 should incorporate some way to reverse move like allowing
2/3 to be moved back.
