Dev team, what is the maximium size of the map in hexes horizontal by hexes vertical? In 1920 x 1200 resolution, if that makes a difference.

I'm not the development team, but the manual says:
map size. This can be from a minimum of 10 x 10 to a maximum of 512 x 256 hexes.
Maybe this helps ?

Edit: The current map looks to be 267 x 137, so it could be roughly doubled.

Wow. That is impressive. The map size, I mean. Your answer was good too :)

And that is actually an increase of total hexes of about 3.5. Much better than mere doubling. Theoretically speaking it seems like the game is more than capable of handling a conversion of a certain mega-monster WW2 board game with 2 week turns. With the fixed movement points, I think the conversion would have to shift to 1 week turns though. No matter. The wheels, they be turning!
