Status: offline 		Lovely website I found a few months back. Series of well written and well researched articles covering everything you need to know about specific Soviet (and eventually other) armored vehicles. Also features plenty of amazing images.

Features plenty of information about sighting systems:

armour:

ammunition effectiveness:

and more.
One of the gems I found was the T-72's (And other diesel tank's) ability to generate thick, IR-blocking smoke screens with just their engines:
