Hi,

I like to read the game manuals on my tablet. I know I can send them to the device. However, is it possible for Matrixgames to include the download link for all its game manuals on the forum for download? Maybe make a section called Manuals and then registered users can download them easily.

Thanks

Usually the manuals can be found in the game directory in pdf-form. I use an android tablet so I just push them to my google drive and tell my tablet to open them in adobe acrobat. If you use an iPad, you have iBooks on it. Just open the file in an app and tell it to use iBooks. (or was it send to iBooks). You can send the pdf to iBooks straight from Safari too.

Thanks guys, I downloaded the Adobe app for my Kindle and then I look at them there. I was at my tablet and decided to look at a manual but it was on my computer. That's why I thought it would be convenient to have them on the website at that time.

I just plug my kindle to my computer and move the files manually. Takes about 20 seconds at most.

Oh you lucky man, 2 monitors!

I have 2 monitors and TV with HDMI input. Unfortunately only 1 monitor fits on my desk (flanked by speakers, PC, and printer) and desktop doesn't scale up right on the TV, so no playing nor reading on that one.

I have two desktops. One in front of me (kinda obvious) and one directly to my right. I often read manuals on the other PC but sometimes wargames can be minimised (such as WITW) and I just have the manual open on the task bar.

If you take an android tablet, won't it turn you into a cyborg?

I think a tablet like that would have to cost as much as six million dollars, man!

I use the Kindle app to read manuals on my iPad, it allows you to form "collections" which keep things more or less organized. To get manuals on to the iPad, I usually copy them to Dropbox and then open on my iPad from Dropbox, then export to the Kindle app. Sounds complicated but it takes about 30 seconds. I've probably got about 50 manuals on my iPad at this point.

Great idea...I've got a Galaxy Note. I'll have to see if I can do the same!?

Is the Galaxy note a full tablet or a phablet?

Note that while you can read pdfs in the Kindle app, you don't have all Kindle features, such as increasing font size, so for me it is difficult to read pdf manuals on anything smaller than a full tablet.
