ORIGINAL: wie201 Vonik - I tried the link but could not reach it. Will try again later. And yes, I understand the bias distinction and you're are right, but: (1) he had played multiple games as the Axis against the AI (2) I had only played twice, once as Italians only then once with Russia only (3) he specifically wanted the Axis for the first game (4) in board wargames, which is all we played until now, he is very good and we both agree better than myself (5) for a long time in this game he ran a parallel game which I did not - obviously this became worthless later on (6) and yes, you are right again in that MY mistakes (MANY) cost less in the long run than his own but he could not recover from his (7) lastly, he says he would have been better off NOT plating the AI too much beforehand - it gave him a false sense of security (his words - not mine). But he wants to end it on the field of battle, and then try to beat my score. You are right . For some reason the link doesn't work . You can see the thread I linked to in the War Room and then check the assessment at end 1942 . And to your 6), yes, I have noticed one big mistake of yours . All others were minor . It is not such a big mistake in itself but it may be a decisive one in the context of your contest . If your Partner has seen it too, then it is probable that you may get a surprise and better be ready to pay for much beer :)
