In a hotseat session Ive been struggling to take France as my oponent is very good in this types of game. Now in late 41 Ive manage to knock the Allied out of France. No Vichy event was triggered as I took Paris in june 41 but it didnt bother me much, as Ive intended to take it all.
Now I realize that DOWing on USSR is not an option as they been removed from any action in the diplomacy window.
Is there an event that makes the russkies to enter war at a certain/later date?

I also checked the map view, no russia to DOW on. And this in okt -41. So the French falling event is nessesary to invade Russia?
