I hope that we will have the same save facility in SC in multiplayer as other games that I have played using the Matrix server. On those you can save anytime during your turn and then when you reload, the game is at the point where you left it, with remaining moves left to be played but those already done no longer available. In SC terms I would expect this to allow any move allotments not used to be available after the reload.

I mention this for two reasons. First my experience with the game so far is that I often find myself having to take a break or two during long turns when there are a lot of units in play and several different theatres and/or in the east various fronts to address along with purchasing, research, diplomacy instructions etc. Great fun and I love the sense of depth and immersement that comes from the the game scale, the size of the map and the opportunity to order so many units plus the wide range of features.

Secondly and importantly I wouldn't like such saves to be seen as something underhand by one's opponent in the same way that the reload count in previous SC games was used, as I understand it, as a check on possible cheating.

Will there be feature to guard against reloading to cheat by trying for better combat results? I hope so!

That is an interesting concept. A player for the western allies, Germany, Italy , USSR . Hell if it were popular enough, throw one in for each of the western allies :)

My friend and I simulated this against the AI, making our moves with a great power in SC1. Be interesting to try this with more human players. Always felt that 2 players as Germany would be a realistic opponent, with both 'sides' competing for limited mmp for each front.
