I will have to check if these aren't losses from some previous battle that weren't cleared properly before launching this bombing attack.

Sounds good .. when they were escorting alone .. it would be a fighter sweep .. else a real bombing mission on a target. The last screen will be the total results ..

I'd say the Germans are in real good shape and headed for a decisive victory in 1942. Soviet losses of men and factories are very serious.

You called it right. It seems the heavy industry and arms factory losses, although very big, are not serious in these versions anymore. But looks like manpower did it?

At this rate, Stalin himself is going have a sudden illness very soon. Or, he will sacrifice himself heroically for the fatherland.
No way the Soviets survive past summer of '42.

Stalin is very interested in a prognosis of the war..., would you mind to visit him in Moscow to repeat what you said?

I think I'll phone it in.

I take it Stalin took your prognosis calmly and thanked you for speaking truth to power?

Yes, he was very pleased. He had Comrade Beria throw a surprise party for me and arranged an all expenses paid vacation. Postcard below. Wish you were here!

U2VS:

M60's propaganda machine continues to spew disinformation on the use of U2VS but the records do not lie .. the Soviets have a secret weapons program based on the U2VS ... our intelligence confirms with high confidence this is verified.

Confirmed there were no airgroups with U2VS then - so definitely a bug

And one U2VS was actually added to the pool - even though they had no factories or airgroups!

Edit: Nothing converts to U2VS either according to scenario data.

Were those U-2VS listed as lost in a mismatched battle report somewhere?

Air battles during the Soviet phases initiated on the Soviet side shown below. I clicked on all the battles listing a lost Soviet bomber - none included U2-VS.

Battles during Soviet logistics phase - none included U2VS. However the loss was listed as being during the action phase anyway.

Last U2VS factory was overrun by Axis ground forces on turn 59 see post 1069 here http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4250683&mpage=36 . During the team game before we tracked all the other U2VS factories and saw them being overrun by Axis ground forces.

It's the U-2VS that EvK used to escape. Refurbished, sold on an 'as is' basis.

Imported from other variant? Though in my current data I can't see import being configured.

This game was started in v1.10 data and there are no imports/exports/conversions to U2VS. I believe this feature has remained unchanged in every version. And none described in the real log reports.

My guess is related to this bug and so unfixable?

Lend Lease provided the Soviets with cutting edge Western designs.

The Soviet Union particularly (not) appreciated the M3 tanks!

Even more fun was watching tanks expert Nicholas Moran ("The Chieftain") do his review of armoured fighting vehicles of the Irish army - which left me asking really? Turns out the Irish army has had two AFVs. No not two types of AFV - I mean they have only had two AFVs!

Watch how well he pads out this video!

Why is that your version shows U2-VS under "Dive Bomber", while my 1.11.03 as "Tactical Bomber"? I assume it's a game started with older generic data (pre 1.11.01)?
