After running into too many Mad except crashes during air to air phase using version 2.3.9 playing Barbarossa 2 player netplay, we decided to revert back to 2.3.6. We couldnt even get past the German player setup. We kept getting Mad except errors everytime the German player tried to place naval units on the map during setup, whether it was naval units in the port in Rumania or any port in Germany. In another problem the German player placed a 1 CP unit at sea in the Black Sea zone and it was invisible to the Russian player, only the German player could see it.
2 player Netplay for at least Barbarossa doesnt work. We give up.

We hit this same issue and reported it here: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4238384&mpage=1�

I think it might be fixed in 2.3.9 but then in 2.3.9 there is the air combat regression bug. Maybe the next version will get rid of both issues.
