Actually my silly little simulation of Tigers vs Snipers did teach me a few things. It shows that armor should not just dash to victory hexes and ignore enemy infantry. The tigers I observed either ignored the enemy snipers, or did not see them. It also shows the value of remaining hidden as infantry and ambushing armor with close assaults. Even without Molotovs and Flamethrowers, you get a 2% chance. My snipers were armed only with rifles borrowed from the museum in town. Finally it shows that the game can be setup to study in a quantitative manner any "what-ifs" you are interested in. Even silly one's like what I did. What probably should not be done is to over interpret the results or let them detract from the fun of playing this fine game. Remember the eternal words of that wisest of men Bozo the Clown: "Just keep laughing".
