Does this work as a stock map? I have a user designed scen. that uses the stock map.

I like the look a lot; it's come a long way from your first try. Will probably try out the extended map version for my next PBEM (a bit away).

Thanks, it's still a combination of Chemkid's Sunny Day and the stock map. Very easy on the eyes and informative as to the terrain type. Took lots of attempts to get this look. It was a serendipitous experiment and a "Hoot and Holler" moment. I will be adding the swamps over the next few weeks.

Looks very good. I think I will use the extended map in my new game, once the swamps are added to the extended map. Put up a post once the swamps are added. Really very nice looking maps.

While this looks absolutely gorgeous on pics, my tired old eyes have a tougher time looking at it ingame. They agree better with your regular Pacifica Bellum map. Do you plan to update it with more distinguishable roads, rails etc.?

Sorry to hear that. This map is very easy on my eyes. Maybe its the settings on your monitor, try some different configurations. Sounds like darker is better for your eyes, try making the settings darker. Do you have the current map or the very first one? I lowered the saturation compared to the first posting of this map.

If you monitor is a TV then usually there are several picture settings.

I will eventually redo the road colors of the Pacifica Bellum, it will take some time as they are painted by hand.

Yeah, I tried side by side Pacifica Bellum v3, latest download, and the current Kamikaze. While I love the Kamikaze's colors and matte style, I must use regular Pac.Bellum unfortunately as it provides me with more clarity. I think it's something with focusing on smaller details and terrain.

Good to hear you'll work on Pac.Bellum too! Looking forward to it.

Thank you very much. I will download both and install the extended map in my new game. I may convert my standard map over as well. I will let you know if I spot any problems. Best thing to happen to me today... lol (bad weather cancelled all my raids in my one game and the one raid that did go in.. the fighter failed to protect the bombers).

I noticed that on your terrain chart you have Armor in Clear and Desert listed as 30, but I believe that was changed a long time ago to 25. See v1.00.94b Public Beta - November 23, 2009
