Thanks Fintilgin! Well, it certainly hasn't gone they way Mark wanted, and we have another mega-session set for this weekend, so we'll see how it goes. I think that he thought I would have almost no supply this deep into Russia, but I doubt he'll quit. He never does. While I understand how things are much different in later patches regarding supply, I have a story I'll post on the main forum page of a rookie to this game taking out Russia in Patch 1.08. I mean all of it. It was against the AI, but I still think people will find the details fascinating. Will post ASAP. {EDIT} And I understand that an audience prefers more dramatic, to and fro, events. But I love how varied the game is. In the other major AAR going on, the situation is quite different. Of course, different decisions were made leading to this, but still, the alternative history between the two is quite dramatic and, in my opinion, adds to the game. If you take major risks, and your plans do not succeed, you must be prepared to pay a heavy price for same. This game reflects that much better than many others, in my view. The Allies are paying a heavy price in my game, and the Axis powers a heavy price in the other. Better that just repeating history time and time again, I think.
