Status: offline 		Thanks crispy131313! BYW - I love your AAR so much with BPINisBACK I have to think of new ways to spruce mine up so I don't look so plain by comparison Hence my added work on the U-505.

Mark never has followed forums that much. He is retiring very soon, and tells me that he is playing any number of games. He likes board games a lot, so he is always on Hexwar or some other board game conversion program.

FYI, he is fine with me doing this. He did view my prior AAR with him at completion and said he got "a few chuckles," and as long as I have fun doing this and provide some modicum of entertainment, he said he can stand the shame of losing (even though he is not (or ever will) give up.)

At my Victory Dinner at my American Pub, I'll try to convince him of a dual selfie that I can post here! Not that I am confident of total victory, but I doubt he can beat the timeline I set in our first game (conquering Germany at the end of 1943).

Status: offline 		Thanks Fintilgin! Well, it certainly hasn't gone they way Mark wanted, and we have another mega-session set for this weekend, so we'll see how it goes. I think that he thought I would have almost no supply this deep into Russia, but I doubt he'll quit. He never does.

While I understand how things are much different in later patches regarding supply, I have a story I'll post on the main forum page of a rookie to this game taking out Russia in Patch 1.08. I mean all of it. It was against the AI, but I still think people will find the details fascinating. Will post ASAP.

{EDIT} And I understand that an audience prefers more dramatic, to and fro, events. But I love how varied the game is. In the other major AAR going on, the situation is quite different. Of course, different decisions were made leading to this, but still, the alternative history between the two is quite dramatic and, in my opinion, adds to the game. If you take major risks, and your plans do not succeed, you must be prepared to pay a heavy price for same. This game reflects that much better than many others, in my view.

The Allies are paying a heavy price in my game, and the Axis powers a heavy price in the other. Better that just repeating history time and time again, I think.
