Lovely pictures, mate!
I hope this will be a very looong game! :)
There are a lot of diferences from the vanilla game. Some are good for me, but not all (of course).
For example, the USA entered at war inmediatelly after i landed in UK!!!
I also think that russia has much more "partisans" spots, am i right?
But, let's fight, this is just started! :)

Actually I did not change the USA mobilization, that is just you being overly aggressive I think! And no there are not more partisans anywhere on the map

The Eastern Front

The slow German advance has allowed the Soviet Union to feel very confident as 1942 draws near. The Germans are still equipped with Infantry Weapons I, and while the Axis still hold the advantage over USSR in this regard the Wehrmacht does not feel superior without. The Luftwaffe has also remained concentrated in the West which has worked to the Soviets favor. In fact, the Soviets feel so confident they have even launched a counter offensive into Bessarabia!

Sealion

Relentless German bombers continue to pound the British from across the English Channel, but the Axis forces on the ground have been unable to launch an offensive towards London.

North Africa

The Axis apparently have come to accept that Tripoli will fall soon. Next stop Tunisia!

The Atlantic

German raiders are everywhere. With the Americans now at war we have additional ships to help put an end to the German happy time in the Atlantic.

Portugal

As expected Portugal surrendered to Spain.

Allied Propaganda is so useless!!
We have build a big stronhold both in Russia and UK to advance quickly in 1942 to the glorious Full Victory for Axis!
Despite figthing at home, Brithis are only able to kill very weak units (3 points of strengh) not more!
And, in Russiaaa??? What a mess! A counteattack with guys on horses and axis?? This is just chatter.
And Tripoly? A singel artillery unit has been able to stop 4 assaults even from Infantry Armies!!
We are setting up Wermatch and Luftwaffe for their main objetives in 1942. You will see!!

The Eastern Front

The Red Army counter-offensive into German territory (annexed Lithuania) is a very telling display of the current Soviet morale. The Soviets continue to send more troops to the front line then the Axis have been able to destroy. Meanwhile the Romanians, who have since been reinforced by Germans, continue their winter stalemate in Bessarabia. German Army Group Center and South have had limited success, but neither Kiev or Smolensk have been captured. The Soviets begin 1942 in very high spirits indeed!

North Africa

While Italian North Africa is completely under British occupation, the Axis are still in control of former French territory (Tunisia, Algeria) and hold Gibraltar. Remnants of the DAK and an Italian Army Group have established themselves along the Mareth Line in Tunisia. Could a decisive battle be on the horizon, or will the Axis fight for every inch of former French territory?

The Atlantic

The Royal Navy has suffered heavy losses thus far in the war, in large part due to an Axis decisive victory in the English Channel as the British attempted to defend against Sealion. German U-boats have since taken advantage in the Atlantic, raiding our convoy lines at will. We hope that 1942 will see a change of fortune in favor of the Allies and put an end to Germany's "Happy Time" in the Atlantic.

Sealion

The Axis invasion of Britain has been costly for both sides. Germany has reinforced the tight front with a much stronger assault force then the original invasion but now American soldiers fight side-by-side with the British, Canadian and Free French to push the invaders back into the Sea. The Allies will soon find out the limits of German resolve to capture London.

Crispy images are so good that i only will write a short report.

The Eastern Front

OKW feel trust in their forces. Stalin has move forward hundred of teenagers and old people. Despite the great number of enemy units they are quite weak, just a few of them are a bit dangerous.
So, even with the bad weather we could keep going on with our slow (at this time) advance.
But the big movements will be in the short future...

North Africa

We hold on Tunisia as allied forces know... but that doesn't mean that we are sit playing cards... Time will tel... ;-)

The Atlantic

UK has cancel the soviet convoys as losses where so high that it was useless (more than 100MPP in all the convoys, not only the Russian one).
We expect a strong CA anywhere... let's see where...

Sealion
Yes, western allies are fighting hard... but... we still hold the line with more powerfull units... despite the bad wheather.

So, 1942 will be a very bloody and interesting year...

Good wheather brings Luftwaffe back to action both in West and East Theatre.
New reinforcements are in UK and, again, two british units were destroyed and a third one was almost exhausted.
Convoys raiding are going on (soviet one is closed yet) with losses close to 80 MPP.
Meanwhile in the East, Kiev is conquered (at last) and a strong, and sucessful, offensive are launch all along the front. Soviets take great losses. At our back more axis troops arrive ready to fight!
1942... what a year!

We know that Crispy is "cooking up" something. Turkey will be allied in one or two turns. US troops and ships are in Mediterranean sea. Soviets have enough forces to launch offensive operations...

However, in East Theathre our german forces are still better than red ones and we can still advance (very slowly, but advance)

This is our main movement in our last turn (but this operation has been going on during the whole summer).

Eastern Front

Most activity is now focused on the Eastern Theater (summarized in screenshots below).

Turkey

Turkey is leaning 87% towards the Allies on the backs of British and American Lend Leases and invested diplomacy. Through Turkey, the Allies could soon have a launching pad into Europe.

The Mediterranean

The Italians have lost 2 Battleships and a Heavy Cruiser in recent fighting, while USA lost a Heavy Cruiser in near the coast of Greece.

December 1942

Turkey

Backed by the arrival of additional military equipment promised to the Turkish government in December 1942 (via decision), Turkey has agreed to declare for the Allies. As a result of previously agreed Lend Leases (1941) and the most recent Allied commitments to the region the Turkish Army is better equipped for war with Germany who I am now aware has preemptively moved forces into Bulgaria in anticipation of Turkish entry. In response to the Axis build up, British and American infantry have arrived at Istanbul to support Turkey and have deployed along the Bulgarian border awaiting clashes with the Wehrmacht.

The Atlantic

German and Italian Coastal Bombers operating from Portuguese and Spanish territories in the Atlantic and off the coast of Africa have been problematic as we look to clear the convoy lanes of Italian and Spanish surface raiders near the Canary Islands. Though we have suffered losses ourselves, we are quite sure that the German U-boats have been sunk in this region as a result of our naval operations. Spanish coastal raiders and at least one Italian Battleship is known to be in the region.

The Eastern Front

The Soviets have opened a continuous front against the Axis invaders who will now have to fight for each and every mile of the motherland. German offensive operations have stalled and it is questionable if they can regain the initiative on the Eastern Front.

Tunisia

Under German command in North Africa, Axis forces continue to rebel the Allies at the Tunisian border. If Tunisia and Algeria are to fall, the Allies will need a new plan of attack.

Finland

Soviet forces continue their offensive towards Helsinki. Germany never made any true commitments to march on Leningrad and as a result the Finns have been abandoned to their fates.

Western Europe

All remains quite in Western Europe as I am sure the Axis are continuing preparations to defend the long Atlantic coast from possible Allied invasions.

1943

1943 will be critical for the both sides. Due to the ferocious bombing campaign and year long Sealion invasion against Great Britain the Axis have stolen much time from the Allies to prepare for the next phases of military operations.

From the Axis perspective , it is not clear if the Axis have the capability to return to the offensive. The Germans have failed to capture any oilfields, and the scales are slowly tipping towards the Allies. The inclusion of many types of divisions does cloud the overall unit Report, so it is not 100% clear if the Allies truly hold the advantage in this regard or not. Time will tell, I wish my opponent good luck in 1943!
